Who we are

PearlBridge Network Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this service. We are a UK logistics technology company based in Horley, Surrey. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean PearlBridge Network Ltd. Privacy enquiries can be sent to info@pearlbridgenetwork.com.

Information we collect

Website and enquiry information may include your name, contact details, postcode, vehicle type, work preferences and messages.

If you create a driver account, we may also collect your date of birth, address, nationality and right-to-work route; driving-licence details, DVLA check information and endorsements; vehicle, MOT and tax details; courier experience and operating area; self-employment declarations; and identity, driving-licence and insurance documents. We also keep application decisions, reviewer notes, consent records and security/audit events.

Why we use it

We use information to create and secure accounts, assess driver applications, verify identity and driving credentials, check relevant insurance and vehicle documentation, communicate review decisions, prevent fraud, maintain audit records and operate the PearlBridge service. We do not sell personal information.

Lawful basis

Depending on the activity, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, our legitimate interests in operating a safe and trusted driver network, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where we specifically request it. You may withdraw consent, but this does not affect processing already carried out or information we must retain on another lawful basis.

Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised PearlBridge reviewers and service providers supporting hosting, authentication, secure storage and business operations. Supabase provides our account, database and private document-storage infrastructure. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or with your instruction.

Storage and security

Driver documents are kept in private storage and are not public website files. Access is controlled by authenticated user and administrator permissions. Temporary links used by reviewers expire automatically. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

How long we keep it

We retain information only for as long as needed for onboarding, the driver relationship, legal claims, fraud prevention and applicable legal or accounting requirements. Incomplete applications and obsolete documents are periodically deleted or anonymised. We will publish more detailed retention periods as the operational service develops.

International processing

We select UK or European hosting locations where available. Some suppliers may process limited information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

Your rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to some processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@pearlbridgenetwork.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
